Youssef’s specialty is designing intelligent algorithms that can solve complex problems. His passion is understanding how the human brain works and attempting to mimic this using Artificial Intelligence, namely computational neuroscience.

As a staunch believer in radical and lateral thinking, and ‘out of the box’ theorizing, Youssef regards taking risks with system design as the only way to make quantum leaps in advanced AI computing. He feels strongly that only by pushing the envelope of what’s currently regarded as ‘possible’ can today’s ‘impossible’ become achievable tomorrow.
